Log every set. Level up a cat.
CataLift is a fast workout tracker for iPhone and Android. Every workout you finish earns your cat XP and moves it one step up a mountain. Train for this month's boss and you land a hit.
Free to download. Logging and the whole game are free.

Workout saved
- +100 XP for your cat
- New PR: 195 lb × 4
- One step up the Climb
The log comes first.
The cat is the fun part. Underneath it is a tracker built for the 90 seconds between sets: big inputs, your last session in view, and nothing in the way.
- Every detail of a set
- Weight, reps and RPE, plus tempo, pauses, grip and stance variations, and notes. Supersets and drop sets too.
- Last time, right there
- Your previous session sits above the set you're typing, so you know what to beat.
- A rest timer that starts itself
- It counts down after every logged set and lives on your lock screen, in the Dynamic Island on iPhone and as a notification on Android.
- Plate math
- Type 345 and see exactly what goes on each side of the bar, in lb or kg.
- About 1,100 exercises
- Search knows that OHP is overhead press and that a pec deck is a chest fly machine. Rename anything for yourself.
- Your programs
- Build them in the app or import them from CSV, JSON or Google Sheets.
- PRs and progress
- Records are called out the moment you finish, next to your previous best. Charts cover volume, sets and body weight.
- Health data, read only
- Steps, workouts and heart rate come in from Apple Health or Health Connect. CataLift never writes to them.
- No signal, no problem
- Log in a basement gym. It syncs when you're back online.

One workout, one step up the mountain.
The Climb is a 28-day run on a branching mountain map. You pick the route. The map is sized to how often you actually train: six rows if you lift once or twice a week, twelve if you're in four times.
How a run goes
- Join the Climb. It's opt-in, and your first run starts straight away.
- Train. Each workout moves your cat one step, at most one a day and four a week.
- Pick your path. Fights, Elites, campfires, shops, treasure and events sit on the forks.
- Reach the Summit. Your next workout is the final strike against the guardian.
- Fight
- Any workout wins it.
- Elite
- A big day. Two targets from your last 56 days; hit either one.
- Campfire
- A rest day counts. Heal, upgrade a relic, or find a secret key.
- Shop
- Spend run coins on relics and heals.
- Treasure
- Coins and a roll for new gear.
- Event
- Pick an option. Twists only ever add rewards.
Miss a day and nothing happens. Your cat only loses health when you take on an Elite and fall short.
Train how you train. Your cat follows.
Four stats grow from real training: Strength, Endurance, Consistency and Volume. Your mix of training sets your class. Train in one style for seven weeks and that class unlocks for good, with ten mastery levels and a perk on the Climb.
Rookie
Fresh out of the gym bag. Every workout counts.
Powerlifter
Heavy weights, low reps. Elites hit harder on the Climb.
Runner
Happiest on the move. Cardio days heal.
Hybrid
Lifts and runs, a bit of everything. Carries a fourth relic.
Bodybuilder
Sets, reps and a good pump. Shops cost less.
Calisthenics
Pull-ups, dips and push-ups. Bodyweight steps pay extra coins.
A new boss every 28 days.
Each boss is set slightly past your best: a heavier set if you lift, a longer distance or faster pace if you run, more reps if you train bodyweight. Every day you train for it, you land a hit. As you beat them, they come back in heavier armour: bronze, then silver, then gold. Twenty fights in all.
- Iron Golem
- Dumbbell Dragon
- Kettlebell Kraken
- Treadmill Troll
- Battle Rope Basilisk
Loot you earn by lifting
107 pieces of gear for your cat across head, body, weapon, feet and background. They drop from bosses, Elites, treasure and the weekly quest chest. One roll in 25 comes out shiny. All of it is cosmetic, none of it is for sale, and you never lose it.
Three quests every Monday
Built from your own numbers, so a beginner and a 600 lb deadlifter both get a fair shot. Finish all three to open the chest.
121 trophies
For streaks, PRs, total volume and the odd milestone you didn't know you were chasing.
Borrow a friend's push day.
Open a friend's finished workout to see every set and PR. Start it as your own session, or save it to your program. Their numbers never become your PRs, and their notes, RPE, heart rate and body weight stay private.
- Challenge friends on steps, volume, PRs, streaks or something you make up.
- Weekly Effort and Strength leaderboards, if you opt in.
- A feed, reactions and direct messages.
Questions
Do I have to play the game?
No. The Classic track (quests and the monthly boss) and the Climb each have their own switch on the Quest Board. Turn both off and there are no quests, bosses or runs to keep up with.
Does it work with Apple Health and Health Connect?
Yes, it reads steps, workouts, heart rate and body weight from them. It never writes anything back.
Is there an Apple Watch or Wear OS app?
Not yet. Workouts recorded on your watch still come in through Apple Health or Health Connect, and the rest timer shows on your phone's lock screen.
Can I bring my program from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Import from CSV, JSON or Google Sheets. Free accounts can import two programs a month.
Pounds or kilograms?
Either. Switch any time; the plate calculator follows.
What languages is it in?
Twenty: English, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Settings, then Account Management, or on the delete your account page.
